"Eyes that see thousands of colors, shapes and forms...
...sunlight on a leaf.

Tarragon

The first of our annual herbs are peaking out.
Fragrant French Tarragon has arrived first.

This is the signature ingredient in our Avalanche Lake Blend (combining tarragon with spearmint and lemon balm).

If this herb could talk, it would say:

"I heart sunlight."

"A brain that ponders a speck of dust as easily as the entire cosmos...
...or perhaps... lavender.

And, really, who doesn't love to ponder lavender?

Or a Lavender Festival? (coming in June)

The festival is based in Grand Junction and offers site visits to Lavender Farms across the area, including four North Fork Valley growers.

Friday's event will include visits to local lavender farms. And if that isn't enough of a teaser, here's more.

Visitors to Elevation's Tea farm will enjoy:

In-Field Tea Tasting

(touch + taste + smell the fresh-picked ingredients)

-and-

In-Field Harp Performance

(played by me, your favorite herbal tea farmer)

Space is limited.
Here's the information.

“...a heart that beats in rhythm with the heartbeat of all beings."
The inspiring words in this month’s update are those of Nhat Hahn.

I hope they encourage you to find awe in the newness that spring provides.

And I hope that our teas help create moments of wonder.

As always, valuable customer: Thank you I'm honored to be your herbal tea farmer.

Be well,
Shannon
