"Rest is not idleness...
To lie sometimes on the grass on a summer’s day
Listening to the murmur of the water
Or watching the clouds float across the sky
...is by no means a waste of time." -John Lubbock
Summer.
It is blue & green.
It is warm & bright. All the things that make summer what it is...
they're here. Now.
Summer Vivid
Kodachrome Captured
BLUE sky in the morning, a gradient from deep cobalt to pale robins-egg and every shade between.
GREEN of every hue sweeps across our fields.
BLUSH blossoms that capture the intensity of sunsets.
The colors of summer are nature's palate.
Our farm paints deeper than words ever could.
Our summer canvas...
From us. To you.*with love*
Warm & Bright
Nothing speaks more to all things summer than our honeybees
Did you know? A few fun honeybee facts:
Bees & Sun: Bees use the sun to navigate
Flower Dancing: Bees waggle their bums when they talk about flowers
Flower Senses: Bees can sense the electrical fields of flowers
Spirals, Universe & Bees: Some bee species build their nest in the same spiral pattern as the Milky Way
And we have the great honor to be the caretakers of these amazing summer lovers.
Aren't we are the lucky ones!
Summer Exploring
"The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste & experience it to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience." -Eleanor Roosevelt
