Messages of Water

"It's likely that only vibrations of love and gratitude appear in nature, and observations of nature shows this to be true.”

― Masaru Emoto

The Hidden Messages of Water
By Dr. Masaru Emoto was originally published in 2005.

I am fascinated by this work.

Dr. Emoto explored the formation of snowflakes in a refrigerated laboratory.
Notably, snowflakes formed using water exposed to unique stimuli.

The Stimuli:

Music
Prayer
Gratitude
Love
+ More

The result:
Petri dishes filled with snowflakes displaying similar trending characteristics.
Characteristics that offered insight into those stimuli under which each grew.

Classical Music... formed crystals that were notably "delicate, elegant and well-formed."
Gratitude... formed crystals that were without exception "complete."

Dr. Emoto suggests that the "prayers" or "good will" that we offer and surround ourselves with may have greater impacts than we realize.

This month...
My own observations.

My Fields
I have come to realize, are simply an organic version of Dr. Emoto's laboratory.

My plants are his snowflakes.

The symmetry of a hibiscus flower as it opens in the morning sun.

The balance of the sharp upward center and soft downward petals of an echinacea flower.

The linearity of a butterfly's wing. Its choice of flower displaying veins that mirror its own.

Each: A reflection of the energy surrounding it.
The Stimuli: Awe, Innocence, Abundance, Joy, Gratitude, Honor, Serenity, Peace.
The Source: The Guests, The Farmer and You.

The Guests: Awe + Innocence + Abundance + Joy
"Sounds of the same frequency resonate. As with a tuning fork. Likes attract. And so, it seems, that vibrations also attract and interact with each other."

- Masaru Emoto

Meet Young Bo
Bo accompanied his mother as a volunteer berry-picker as part of our weekly gleans with UpRoot

Both (along with their fellow volunteers) shared what they picked with local food pantries, elder-care centers, and others in need.

Like a Tuning Fork...
Bo (and all those who come) are attracted by the mutual joy they both give and receive in my fields.

Like Bo...
Those that come bring with them:
Their awe... of the beauty of these fields.
Their innocence... the pleasure of red fingers and full tummies from the abundant berries.
Their joy...it radiates from them as they move through the rows and between the plants.

Like Emoto's Snowflakes...

The plants radiate that beautiful energy back.
And grow beautifully in its presence.

The Farmer: Honor + Gratitude
"The human being holds a universe within, filled with overlapping frequencies, and the result is a symphony of cosmic proportions."

- Masaru Emoto

As the steward of these fields, I have the honor of participating in a symphony daily.

My orchestra includes:
 Plants
  Water
    Insects
      Sunlight
        Rain
          Soil

And...Me.

Together, we
Overlap, appreciate, nurture and harmonize.

You: Serenity + Peace
"If you fill your heart with love and gratitude, you will find yourself surrounded by so much that you CAN love and you CAN feel grateful for.
And, you can even get closer to the life of love and happiness that you seek."

- Masaru Emoto

You are 60 percent water.
That Teacup before you... more.

Those Herbs infused in that water in your teacup...
They were grown into mature beauty nourished by their surroundings:

Awe + Innocence +
Joy + Abundance +
Honor + Gratitude

As you make space to "drink it in", your space, your body and soul are now ALSO nourished with such things.

Your moment of Serenity + Peace... will change you.
Like Emoto's snowflakes.
Like the plants in my field.

You become more of what you surround yourself with.

Dear Tea-Drinker,

My blessing to you and myself this month:
May we be tuning forks. Resonating. Offering that which we want to receive.

May we be a part of a symphony. Harmonizing with all of the orchestral elements that surround us.

May we surround ourselves with Love and Gratitude. Drink in and grow. Nourished by intentional beauty.

As always:

Thank you

I'm honored to be your herbal tea farmer.

Be well,
Shannon
