Into the Wild Blue

"One summer afternoon I heard
A looming, mysterious hum
High in the air; then came something
Like a small planet flying past - something
Not at all interested in me but on its own way somewhere
All anointed with excitement: bees, swarming
Not to be held back
Nothing could hold them back."
My bees are emerging...
So are my children
From their hives...
And their classrooms
They are being set free.
And so are you.
And so am I.
Into the warm sunlight and clean fresh air.
What a thing it is to feel such freedom.
To Imagine
To Break Boundaries
To Explore
Free to Imagine
"Imagination is more important than knowledge." -Albert Einstein
I could not have imagined...
What a sanctuary I was to create when starting my journey as an herbal tea farmer.
A place where:
Teacups are filled with sunrises over chamomile
Butterflies kiss echinacea blossoms
Peppermint basks in blue skies
Honeybees nurture and are nurtured with gentle hands
Imagining is always the first step to creating something meaningful.
What are you being beckoned to create? Imagine it!
Let it run wild.
Then...Write, Paint, Teach, Sing, Grow, Share.
The World is Waiting for Your Gifts
Free to Break Boundaries
"It was more than the world.
It was everything she imagined.
She felt like an explorer, a pioneer, a trailblazer.
And everyone who had the chance to hear her tale did too."
-Deborah Marcero, My Heart Is A Compass
My Heart is a Compass
Is my favorite children's book.*

In it, Rose explores the world looking for some "thing" unique for show and tell.
When she returns, she has "no-thing" to show.
Instead, she shares her story.
And in doing so ...
She Inspires
"Who taught you how to do this?" people ask when they visit my farm.
Here they see boundaries broken.
And beauty set free.
I am learning that we all can break boundaries... and inspire.
Both my bees and my children show me:
Breaking Boundaries is Inspiring
Free to Explore
"We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time." -T.S. Elliot
"The ideal of the soul is:
Space...Immensity...Infinity
The one thing your soul needs Is:
To be free
To reach out
To expand
To embrace the infinite"
-Wayne Dyer
The flavors from my farm diffuse into the hot water in your teacup.
And you ingest.
They become you.
They expand. They permeate. They know exactly what to do.
Deep down...
So Do We
“They were awfully little, those bees,
and maybe frightened
yet unstoppably they flew on, somewhere
to live their life
Hum hum hum”
Dear Tea-Drinker,
Are you being beckoned? I am.
Can you hear a calling?
Into the wild blue.
With tender-toughness.
Like my honeybees.
Like my children.
Launching from their hives and classrooms into the sunlight.
As always:
Thank you
I'm honored to be your herbal tea farmer.
Be well,
Shannon
